About KOCHI

Our Japanese language department plans various events and training classes throughout the year.In addition to classroom lessons, you can participate in various outdoor events.By interacting with people through this experience, you can learn about the Japanese sensibility, way of thinking and customs. These experiences will be a great asset for foreign students from abroad in the future.

Why Kochi?

Kochi is the capital city of Kochi prefecture where 700,000 people live peacefully.

Convenient

Because it is a cozy city, everything is as close as you can get by foot or bike.
You may think it is inconvenient to live in a small city but it is even more convenient than to live in Tokyo.

Stress-free

You don’t have to get on a jam-packed train to go to school but it takes only 5-10 minutes by bike.

Abundance of nature

If you are nature lover, there is no other place better than Kochi. Mountains, rivers and the ocean are so close that you can enjoy it every weekend.

Low cost

The cost of living in Kochi is a lot lower than that in big cities like Tokyo.
You can get anything you need at shopping-malls, supermarkets or street-markets at low price. Seasonable vegetable and fruits are so reasonable and delicious just because they are raised nearby.
Winter is also pleasant in Kochi. It rarely snows in the city. So you have no trouble riding your bike all seasons, and you don’t have to spend a lot for heating your room or buying clothes.

Once you live in the city, you will see.
